Thanks for your response! Yes, I think you and others may be on to something regarding a non-specific protective effect of vaccines. While I have taken care of hospitalized patients with Covid-19 as well as patients with Kawasaki disease, I have not yet encountered a case of MIS-C. I will be happy to reach out if I do and comment on the patient’s vaccine status in a de-identified manner.
