I referenced this study in my story. The confidence interval of the hazard ratio for death is 0.47 to 1.04. Since it crosses 1.0, this means that there was not a statistically significant reduction in mortality. I will grant you that if a similar higher-powered study were performed, a statistically significant reduction could potentially be achieved, but that has not been done at this point.
